What is the cost of publishing a Brief?

BootB is a free marketplace. We have neither a fee for registration, nor a fee for publishing a Brief. When publishing your Brief, you define the Purchase price that you want to appropriate for the project. The Creator who publishes the best Solution will get 80% of the Purchase price (the Budget), while 20% stays in BootB as the Fee. It’s clear that both quantity of proposed Solutions and their quality will be proportional to the money appropriated (the higher the Budget, the better the results... :)

How much time will it take to get results?

It depends on how much time you will give to Creators. You can't give less than 7 days or more than 180 days. Please consider that in order for the Brief to be published, you need to make sure that Creators know that you have appropriated the Budget. So, on top of time for creation (7-180 days) you should also take into consideration the time for money transfer (no more than 30 days). After the Deadline, you will have 7 days to choose the winner. So, the total time needed is at minimum 7 days and at maximum 217 days.

Transaction fee

Please note that all the transaction expenses will be charged to you, therefore please see the fees our bank is charging. $ 7.50 – for Domestic Wires (in the U.S,) $ 10.00 – for International Wire transfers (outside the U.S) E.g., if you transfer money to BootB escrow account from the bank account in the U.S., BootB will receive the sum you transferred minus $ 7.50. If your bank account is in any country outside the U.S., the transaction fee will be $ 10.00. E.g. if you want the Contracted price for the Pitch to be $ 2 000, you need to send $2 007,5 or 2 010 correspondingly. Contact your bank for specific information about arranging a wire transfer from your bank directly to BootB and our bank, Wells Fargo Bank, NA, San Francisco, California USA. In order to get the best exchange rate, notify your bank that the funds are going to a U.S. Dollar account.

How can I arrange a payment?

At the moment we have only Bank transfer available (other options are coming soon :) After you Publish a Brief you will get a Transfer Slip with all the details.

What if I can't choose a Winner?

If for any reason you can't choose a Winner, you have 4 possibilities (but only if your Brief has a purchase price of 10,000 USD or more): 1) you can postpone the Brief deadline; 2) you can postpone the Brief deadline & increase the purchase price; 3) you can postpone the Brief deadline & fine-tune the Brief; 4) you can postpone the Brief deadline, increase purchase price & fine-tune the Brief. After that step, Creators who already published Solutions will be asked to refine them, and other Creators will have the chance to publish their Solutions. You can use this option only once per Project.
